Ingredients
- 150 g whipping cream
- 225 g butter
- 225 g dark chocolate coating
- 75 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 orange juice
- 2 tbsp rum
- chocolate glaze (ready-made product)
- 50 g white chocolate shavings
- powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1. Place the cream, chocolate, butter, and sugar in a pot.
- 2. Heat the mixture on the stove.
- 3. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted.
- 4. Remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool down briefly.
- 5. Place the eggs, orange juice, and rum in a large mixing bowl.
- 6. Whisk the ingredients with a whisk until they are well combined.
- 7. Slowly add the warm chocolate mixture to the egg-rum mixture.
- 8. Gently fold the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture using a spoon or spatula.
- 9. Grease a baking pan with some fat.
- 10. Pour the finished batter into the prepared pan.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- 12. Place the pan in the preheated oven.
- 13. Bake the cake for about 40 minutes.
- 14. Remove the cake from the oven.
- 15. Let the cake cool down completely.
- 16. Place the cooled cake in the refrigerator.
- 17. Let the cake rest in the refrigerator overnight.
- 18. Carefully remove the cake from the pan.
- 19. Sprinkle the surface with white chocolate shavings.
- 20. Dust the cake lightly with powdered sugar.
