🍽️ Crunchy Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
- 50 g dark chocolate
- 250 g flour
- 100 g ground almond kernels
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 175 g cold butter
- 2 tbsp whipping cream
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- Baking paper (for the tray)
Instructions
- 1. Grate the chocolate coating very finely.
- 2. Mix the flour, ground almonds, powdered sugar, one tablespoon of cocoa, and the grated chocolate pieces.
- 3. Add the butter cut into small cubes and the cream.
- 4. Knead everything quickly into a smooth dough.
- 5. Divide the dough into two equal parts.
- 6. Shape them into two long rolls.
- 7. Wrap each roll individually in plastic wrap.
- 8. Place them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- 9. Preheat the oven.
- 10. Line two baking sheets with baking paper.
- 11. Cut each dough roll into about 20 equal slices.
- 12. Roll the slices into small balls the size of a walnut.
- 13. Place them on the baking sheet.
- 14. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes.
- 15. Mix the sugar, vanilla sugar, and the remaining cocoa in a small bowl.
- 16. Roll the still warm chocolate balls in this sugar mixture.
- 17. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
