Ingredients
- 180 g Butter
- 50 g Tahini (sesame paste)
- 100 g raw cane sugar
- salt
- 2 eggs
- 400 g spelt flour Type 1050
- 75 g cocoa powder (highly defatted)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 100 g white chocolate
- 2 tbsp black sesame (10 g)
Instructions
- 1. Beat the butter together with the tahini, sugar, and a pinch of salt until creamy. Stir in the eggs one by one into the mixture. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder in a separate bowl and gently fold this dry mixture into the butter-egg mixture.
- 2. Line two baking sheets with baking paper. Place the dough in large spaces on the sheets by putting one tablespoon of dough as a dollop on each.
- 3. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius conventional heat (160 degrees Celsius fan-forced or gas level 2 to 3) for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove the trays, lift the baking paper with the cookies off the tray, and let them cool down completely.
- 4. Roughly chop the white chocolate and melt it over a bowl of hot water. Decorate the cooled cookies as you like with the melted chocolate. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and let the chocolate harden.
