🍰 Chocolate Fondue with Fruits and Pastries

Ingredients
- 1 small, ripe pineapple
- 250 g strawberries
- sponge cake (125 g each)
- almond cookies (125 g each)
- 200 g whipping cream
- 200 g mint chocolate
- 5 fresh mint
Instructions
- 1. Peel the pineapple completely.
- 2. Cut the peeled pineapple into eight equal longitudinal wedges.
- 3. Remove the hard core from each pineapple wedge.
- 4. Slice the pineapple wedges crosswise into rounds.
- 5. Wash the strawberries thoroughly.
- 6. Remove the green stems and leaves from the strawberries.
- 7. Cut the strawberries into small pieces depending on their size.
- 8. Arrange the pineapple pieces and strawberries decoratively on a plate.
- 9. Cut the shortbread cake into bite-sized cubes.
- 10. Place the shortbread cubes and cookies into a bowl.
- 11. Heat the cream in a fondue pot.
- 12. Add the crushed chocolate to the hot cream.
- 13. Stir constantly until the chocolate has completely melted.
- 14. Place the fondue pot on a warmer to keep it warm.
- 15. Keep the chocolate mixture hot, but do not let it boil.
- 16. Cut the mint leaves into fine strips.
- 17. Sprinkle the mint strips over the hot chocolate mixture.
- 18. Skewer the fruits and pastries on fondue forks.
- 19. Dip the skewers into the chocolate mixture.
