  2. 2. Cut the peeled pineapple into eight equal longitudinal wedges.
  3. 3. Remove the hard core from each pineapple wedge.
  4. 4. Slice the pineapple wedges crosswise into rounds.
  5. 5. Wash the strawberries thoroughly.
  6. 6. Remove the green stems and leaves from the strawberries.
  7. 7. Cut the strawberries into small pieces depending on their size.
  8. 8. Arrange the pineapple pieces and strawberries decoratively on a plate.
  9. 9. Cut the shortbread cake into bite-sized cubes.
  10. 10. Place the shortbread cubes and cookies into a bowl.
  11. 11. Heat the cream in a fondue pot.
  12. 12. Add the crushed chocolate to the hot cream.
  13. 13. Stir constantly until the chocolate has completely melted.
  14. 14. Place the fondue pot on a warmer to keep it warm.
  15. 15. Keep the chocolate mixture hot, but do not let it boil.
  16. 16. Cut the mint leaves into fine strips.
