🍳 Chocolate Buns

Ingredients
- 150 g spelt wholemeal flour
- 150 g spelt flour (+ flour for working)
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 50 g raw cane sugar
- 4 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 250 g low-fat quark
- 1 egg
- 4 tbsp soy drink (soy milk)
- 100 g dark chocolate drops
Instructions
- 1. Put flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl. Stir in the sugar and mix well. Add rapeseed oil, quark, one egg, and 3 tablespoons of soy drink. Use the beaters of a hand mixer to process the ingredients into a smooth dough.
- 2. Gently fold the chocolate drops into the dough. Line a baking tray with baking paper. With hands lightly dusted with flour, shape 9 round buns from the dough and place them on the tray.
- 3. Brush the buns with soy drink. Bake them in the preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius conventional heat (fan 180 degrees; gas mark 3) for 12 to 15 minutes.
