  4. 4. Add a pinch of salt, the nuts, and the cocoa powder.
  5. 5. Gently fold in the ingredients without deflating the mixture.
  6. 6. Fill the mixture into a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  7. 7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  8. 8. Pipe small mounds onto the tray.
  9. 9. Keep the oven door slightly ajar while baking.
  10. 10. Bake the macaroons for about 30 minutes.
  11. 11. Remove the macaroons and let them cool completely.
  12. 12. Slightly warm the jam until it becomes liquid.
  13. 13. Join two macaroons together with the jam.
  14. 14. Decorate the cookies with chocolate and sugar icing.
