  1. 1. Place the nut kernels into a non-stick frying pan.
  2. 2. Roast the nuts without added fat over medium heat.
  3. 3. Stir the nuts regularly until they are golden brown and fragrant.
  4. 4. Remove the pan from the heat and transfer the nuts to a bowl.
  5. 5. Chop the chocolate into coarse pieces.
  6. 6. Fill a pot with a little water and heat it until it boils.
  7. 7. Place a heatproof bowl over the pot, ensuring it does not touch the bottom of the pot.
  8. 8. Add the chocolate pieces into the bowl.
  9. 9. Stir the chocolate continuously until it is completely melted.
  10. 10. Pour the melted chocolate over the roasted nuts.
  11. 11. Mix everything well so that all nuts are coated with chocolate.
  12. 12. Let the mixture rest for a few minutes until it has cooled slightly.
  13. 13. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  14. 14. Spread the nut-chocolate mixture thinly and evenly onto the paper.
  15. 15. Let the mixture stand at room temperature until it has become completely hard.
  16. 16. Break the hardened chocolate-nut slab into irregular, coarse pieces.
  17. 17. Place the pieces into a serving bowl.
