  1. 1. Heat a pot and roast the buckwheat in it without oil until it smells pleasant.
  2. 2. Pour the milk over the buckwheat and bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. 3. Reduce the heat to low and let the buckwheat swell for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. 4. Wash the cherries, remove the stems, and halve them, removing the pits.
  5. 5. Stir the cocoa powder and honey into the cooled buckwheat.
  6. 6. Layer the buckwheat and cherries alternately in a bowl.
  7. 7. Finish the layers with a layer of quark (a type of fresh cheese).
  8. 8. Sprinkle the dessert with a little cocoa powder to taste and serve.
