  1. 1. Warm honey, sugar, butter, and milk in a pot until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. 2. Let the honey-sugar mixture cool down until it is lukewarm.
  3. 3. Mix flour and baking powder and sift the mixture into a large bowl.
  4. 4. Add the spices and cocoa to the flour mixture and stir everything well.
  5. 5. Pour the cooled honey mixture into the bowl with the flour mixture and stir it in.
  6. 6. Stir the eggs into the batter until they are fully incorporated.
  7. 7. Gently fold the almonds into the finished batter.
  8. 8. Line a muffin tray with paper liners.
  9. 9. Fill the batter into a piping bag with a round nozzle.
  10. 10. Pipe a thin layer of batter onto the bottom and sides of the liners.
  11. 11. Add one teaspoon of jam to the center of each liner.
  12. 12. Pipe more batter over the jam until the liners are two-thirds full.
  13. 13. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius conventional heat (or 160 degrees Celsius fan-forced).
  14. 14. Bake the muffins on the middle rack for 20 to 25 minutes.
  15. 15. Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool for a short while.
  16. 16. Carefully release the muffins from the tray.
  17. 17. Decorate the muffins with stars made of candied pineapple before serving.
  18. 18. Finally, dust the muffins with powdered sugar.
