🍰 Cardamom Strawberries in Chocolate

Ingredients
- 400 g strawberries
- 2 cardamom pods
- 100 g dark chocolate coating (at least 72 % cocoa)
Instructions
- 1. Place the strawberries in a sieve.
- 2. Rinse them gently under running water.
- 3. Pat the berries completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 4. Open the green cardamom pods.
- 5. Remove the small black seeds from the pods.
- 6. Put the seeds into a mortar.
- 7. Grind the seeds finely.
- 8. Chop the chocolate coating roughly.
- 9. Place the chocolate pieces in a small pot.
- 10. Add the ground cardamom to the chocolate.
- 11. Place the pot over a pot of hot water.
- 12. Melt the chocolate while stirring constantly.
- 13. Hold a strawberry firmly by the green stem end.
- 14. Dip the strawberry into the liquid chocolate.
- 15. Dip about two-thirds of the strawberry.
- 16. Repeat this process with all the strawberries.
- 17. Place the chocolate-covered strawberries on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 18. Let the chocolate dry in the air.
- 19. Store the finished strawberries in the refrigerator.
- 20. Take them out only shortly before serving.
