Ingredients
- 130 g Figs from Reformhaus® (available at Reformhaus®)
- 30 g dark chocolate from Liebharts Gesundkost 99 % (available at Reformhaus®)
- 130 g Amaranth Fruit Muesli from Allos (available at Reformhaus®)
- 50 g walnut kernels from Lihn (available at Reformhaus®)
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds from Reformhaus® (à 15 g; available at Reformhaus®)
- 80 g brown almond butter from Rapunzel (available at Reformhaus®)
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon from Sonnentor (available at Reformhaus®)
- 1 pinch sea salt from Brecht (available at Reformhaus®)
- 2 tbsp almond kernels from Rapunzel (à 15 g; available at Reformhaus®)
Instructions
- 1. Roughly chop the figs into pieces.
- 2. Place the fig pieces in a bowl of hot water for 10 minutes.
- 3. Remove the figs from the water and let them drain well.
- 4. Save the fig liquid in a separate container.
- 5. Crush the dark chocolate into very small pieces.
- 6. Put the fruit cereal, walnuts, and flaxseeds into a blender.
- 7. Blend these ingredients briefly until they are fine.
- 8. Add the drained figs, almond butter, cinnamon, and salt to the mixture.
- 9. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of the saved fig liquid.
- 10. Blend everything briefly until a uniform mass forms.
- 11. Gently fold in the crushed chocolate pieces.
- 12. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to let the mixture swell.
- 13. Finely chop the almonds in the meantime.
- 14. Moisten your hands with a little water.
- 15. Shape 20 small balls from the mixture.
- 16. Roll the balls in the chopped almonds.
- 17. Store the finished balls in a covered container in the refrigerator.
