🍰 Chocolate Crumble with Mango and Plums

Ingredients
- 100 g Butter
- 180 g Spelt flour Type 1050
- 45 g rolled oats
- 30 g ground almonds (2 tbsp)
- 2 tbsp strongly defatted cocoa powder (14 g)
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 45 g raw cane sugar (3 tbsp)
- 50 g dark chocolate (min. 70% cocoa content)
- 600 g Plums
- 1 Mango
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 30 g sliced almonds (2 tbsp)
Instructions
- 1. Cream soft butter in a bowl using a spoon or fork.
- 2. Add flour, oat flakes, ground almonds, cocoa, cinnamon, and sugar to the butter mixture.
- 3. Work the ingredients together by hand or with a mixer until crumbly streusel form.
- 4. Roughly chop the chocolate and mix it into the streusel.
- 5. Wash the plums and mango and pat them dry.
- 6. Pit the plums and cut the flesh into small cubes.
- 7. Slice the mango flesh lengthwise off the pit on both sides.
- 8. Score a diamond pattern into the flesh, being careful not to cut through the skin.
- 9. Press the mango halves from the outside in so the cubes pop outward.
- 10. Slice off the mango cubes with a knife and set them aside.
- 11. Slice off any remaining fruit flesh attached to the pit.
- 12. Mix the plum and mango pieces with the lemon juice.
- 13. Place the fruit mixture into a baking dish (one large or six small ones).
- 14. Spread the chocolate streusel evenly over the fruit.
- 15. Sprinkle a few sliced almonds on top as decoration.
- 16. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius conventional heat (or 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced).
- 17. Bake the crumble for 25 to 30 minutes on the middle rack until golden brown.
- 18. Let the dessert cool down slightly before serving it warm.
