🍰 Creamy Chocolate Pear with Speculaeus Crumble

Ingredients
- 100 g dark chocolate (min. 70% cocoa content)
- 100 ml coconut milk
- 4 ripe pears (100 g each)
- 30 g margarine
- 2 tbsp date syrup (15 g each)
- 0.25 tsp vanilla powder
- 1 pinch fleur de sel
- 2 spelt spekulatius (vegan)
Instructions
- 1. Roughly chop the chocolate and place it in a heatproof bowl.
- 2. Bring the coconut milk to a boil in a saucepan.
- 3. Pour the hot coconut milk directly over the chocolate pieces.
- 4. Cover the bowl and let the mixture rest for five minutes.
- 5. Whisk the mixture with a hand mixer until a smooth chocolate sauce forms.
- 6. Set the bowl aside and let the sauce cool down for fifteen minutes.
- 7. Peel the pears and remove the core.
- 8. Cut the pears into small cubes.
- 9. Heat the margarine in a frying pan.
- 10. Stir the date syrup into the warm margarine.
- 11. Add the pear cubes, vanilla powder, and a pinch of fleur de sel (sea salt) to the pan.
- 12. Simmer the pears for about five minutes over medium heat.
- 13. Remove the pan from the heat and let the pears cool down for ten minutes.
- 14. Place the cooled pears into four individual glasses.
- 15. Pour the chocolate sauce evenly over the pears.
- 16. Crumble the speculaeus cookies by hand.
- 17. Sprinkle the cookie crumbs as a topping over the dessert.
