🍰 Delicious Chocolate Banana Oat Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 200 g flour
- 100 g fine oat flakes
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 tsp baking soda
- 1 egg
- 120 g sugar
- 80 ml vegetable oil
- 150 g buttermilk
- 75 g chocolate chips
Instructions
- 1. Peel the bananas.
- 2. Mash the bananas finely with a fork.
- 3. Mix the flour with the oats.
- 4. Add cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda to the flour mixture.
- 5. Whisk the egg in a large bowl.
- 6. Add the sugar, vegetable oil, mashed bananas, and buttermilk to the egg mixture.
- 7. Stir the ingredients well.
- 8. Add the dry flour mixture to the wet egg mixture.
- 9. Stir only until the dry ingredients are moistened.
- 10. Fold in the chocolate chips at the end.
- 11. Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- 12. Fill the molds with the batter.
- 13. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (160 °C for fan-assisted or gas mark 2–3).
- 14. Bake the muffins on the middle rack for 20 to 25 minutes.
- 15. Remove the muffins from the oven.
- 16. Let them cool down.
