🍽️ Avocado Schnitzel Sandwich

Ingredients
- 1 large avocado
- 1 lemon (juice)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tomatoes
- 0.25 cucumber
- 4 lettuce leaves (e.g. head lettuce)
- 1 handful sprouts (e.g. radish sprouts)
- 4 small schnitzels (e.g. chicken or pork, approx. 100 g each)
- 30 g flour
- 1 egg
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 rolls (e.g. potato rolls)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit.
- 2. Peel the avocado and mash the flesh.
- 3. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of lemon juice to the puree.
- 4. Season the avocado cream with salt and pepper.
- 5. Wash the tomatoes and remove the stem area.
- 6. Slice the tomatoes.
- 7. Wash the cucumber and peel it.
- 8. Slice the cucumber.
- 9. Rinse the salad greens and sprouts.
- 10. Drain the salad greens and sprouts.
- 11. Wash the meat and pat it dry.
- 12. Drizzle the meat with lemon juice.
- 13. Salt and pepper the meat.
- 14. Coat the meat in flour.
- 15. Dip the meat into the beaten egg.
- 16. Bread the meat with breadcrumbs.
- 17. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan.
- 18. Fry the schnitzels on each side for about 3 minutes until golden brown.
- 19. Slice the buns horizontally.
- 20. Top the buns with salad.
- 21. Place the tomato slices on top.
- 22. Place the cucumber slices on top.
- 23. Place the fried schnitzels on top.
- 24. Spread the avocado cream over the schnitzel.
- 25. Sprinkle sprouts over the bun.
- 26. Place the bun lid on top.
- 27. Serve the bun with sour cream dip if desired.
