🍽️ Crispy Turkey Schnitzel

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 eggs
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 8 turkey schnitzels (approx. 80 g each)
- salt
- pepper (from a mill)
- 3 tbsp ghee
Instructions
- 1. Place the flour on a shallow plate.
- 2. Whisk the eggs loosely in a second bowl with a fork.
- 3. Fill the breadcrumbs into a third plate.
- 4. Rinse the turkey schnitzels briefly under cold water.
- 5. Pat the meat slices completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 6. Pound the schnitzels slightly flat with a meat mallet.
- 7. Season both sides of the schnitzels with salt and pepper.
- 8. Coat the schnitzels in the flour and shake off excess powder.
- 9. Dip the meat slices through the beaten eggs.
- 10. Cover the schnitzels with the breadcrumbs and press them on only lightly.
- 11. Heat ghee in a large frying pan.
- 12. Fry the schnitzels on both sides for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
- 13. Pour hot fat over the schnitzels occasionally while frying.
- 14. Turn the schnitzels once in the middle of the cooking time.
- 15. Let the finished schnitzels drain on kitchen paper.
- 16. Serve the schnitzels with fries and cucumber salad as desired.
