Ingredients
- 10 sage leaves
- 4 veal schnitzel (approx. 80 g each)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon (juice)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the sage leaves under running water.
- 2. Shake the sage leaves dry.
- 3. Rinse the veal schnitzels under running water.
- 4. Pat the veal schnitzels dry with a kitchen towel.
- 5. Pound the veal schnitzels flat evenly.
- 6. Place the dry sage leaves on the schnitzels.
- 7. Season the schnitzels with salt and pepper.
- 8. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan.
- 9. Fry the schnitzels in the pan.
- 10. Fry the schnitzels for a total of 4 to 5 minutes.
- 11. Fry the schnitzels golden brown on both sides.
- 12. Deglaze the pan with the juice of one lemon.
- 13. Let the schnitzels simmer in the sauce for another 2 minutes.
