🍽️ Schnitzel with Mandarin Sauce

Ingredients
- 6 veal schnitzels
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 mandarins
- 200 g whipping cream
- 0.125 l meat broth (from the jar)
- 300 g ribbon noodles
- salt
- pepper
- coriander
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the meat under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
- 4. Rub the meat with coriander.
- 5. Rinse a mandarin orange under hot water.
- 6. Remove the peel using a zester.
- 7. Peel the mandarin orange completely.
- 8. Cut the mandarin orange into thick slices.
- 9. Heat oil and butter in a pan.
- 10. Fry the schnitzels for about 3 minutes on each side.
- 11. Remove the schnitzels from the pan.
- 12. Keep the schnitzels warm.
- 13. Deglaze the pan drippings with broth.
- 14. Add cream to the liquid.
- 15. Let the sauce simmer briefly.
- 16. Add the mandarin orange slices to the sauce.
- 17. Simmer the covered sauce for 2 minutes.
- 18. Cook the ribbon noodles according to the package instructions.
- 19. Plate the schnitzels with the mandarin sauce and ribbon noodles.
- 20. Sprinkle the zest over the dish.
