Ingredients
- 1 bunch herbs of Provence (rosemary, thyme, lavender, marjoram)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 schnitzel (pork, lamb or turkey)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the Provencal herbs (rosemary, thyme, lavender, and marjoram) under running water.
- 2. Finely chop the leaves and needles of the herbs.
- 3. Mix the chopped herbs with the herb cherry (a herb spice blend) and olive oil in a bowl.
- 4. Press the peeled garlic cloves directly into the herb mixture.
- 5. Season the marinade with black pepper.
- 6. Turn the schnitzels in the marinade so that they are completely covered.
- 7. Cover the bowl or container.
- 8. Place the schnitzels in the refrigerator for at least 2 to 3 hours to marinate.
- 9. Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
- 10. Remove the schnitzels from the marinade and pat them dry with kitchen paper.
- 11. Fry the schnitzels in the hot pan for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 12. Season the finished schnitzels with salt to taste.
