  3. 3. Slice the pre-cooked potatoes into even slices that are not too thin.
  4. 4. Heat the butter in a large, hot, and preferably non-stick pan.
  5. 5. Place the potato slices flat in the pan.
  6. 6. Fry the potatoes over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. 7. Shake the pan to turn the potatoes until they are lightly browned.
  8. 8. Add the bacon cubes to the potatoes and fry them together.
  9. 9. Turn the mixture occasionally until the potatoes have formed a golden brown crust.
  10. 10. Sprinkle the chopped onions over them.
  11. 11. Fry the onions for about 5 minutes until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  12. 12. Season the potato mixture with salt and pepper.
  13. 13. Rinse the schnitzels under running water.
  14. 14. Pat the schnitzels dry with kitchen paper.
  15. 15. Pound the schnitzels flat with a meat mallet.

  18. 18. Coat the meat in a dish with flour until it is completely covered.
  19. 19. Dip the floured meat into the egg-cream mixture.
  20. 20. Bread the meat with the breadcrumbs.
