  5. 5. Cut the tomatoes in half through the middle.

  7. 7. Add the oil and the chopped chives to the quark.
  8. 8. Stir the mixture until it is creamy and smooth.
  9. 9. Season the quark cream with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. 10. Spread the quark mixture evenly over the bread.
