🍽️ Quick Pesto Genovese

Ingredients
- 50 g pine nuts
- 2 bunch basil (ca. 100 g)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 g parmesan
- 8 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper from the mill
Instructions
- 1. Place the pine nuts in a dry pan.
- 2. Roast the nuts until they are golden yellow without adding extra fat.
- 3. Wash the basil thoroughly.
- 4. Shake the leaves dry.
- 5. Pluck the basil leaves off the stems.
- 6. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 7. Halve the garlic cloves.
- 8. Grate the Parmesan finely.
- 9. Put the basil, the roasted pine nuts, and the garlic into the food processor.
- 10. Puree the ingredients in the food processor.
- 11. Add the olive oil gradually.
- 12. Mix the oil into the herb cream.
- 13. Transfer the herb cream into a bowl.
- 14. Stir in the grated Parmesan.
- 15. Season the pesto with salt.
- 16. Season the pesto with pepper.
