  1. 1. Let the seafood and peas thaw.
  2. 2. Wash the peppers and leeks.
  3. 3. Remove the tough ends from the leeks and the tough parts of the peppers.
  4. 4. Cut the vegetables into small pieces.
  5. 5. Peel the garlic.
  6. 6. Mince the garlic finely.
  7. 7. Heat the butter in a pan.
  8. 8. Sauté the garlic, peppers, leeks, bay leaf, saffron, and thawed peas briefly.
  9. 9. Add the seafood and rice.
  10. 10. Pour in the broth.
  11. 11. Season with salt and pepper.
  12. 12. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes.
  13. 13. Cut the lemon in half.
  14. 14. Cut one half into wedges.
  15. 15. Squeeze the juice from the other half.
  16. 16. Drizzle the finished paella with lemon juice.
  17. 17. Divide onto plates.
  18. 18. Top each with a slice of garlic butter and a lemon wedge.
  19. 19. Serve.
