🍽️ Quick Paella

Ingredients
- 400 g mixed seafood (frozen; e.g. shrimp, mussels, squid...)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 bell pepper
- 0.5 stalk leek
- 2 garlic cloves
- 150 g frozen peas
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 pinch saffron
- 250 g cooked rice
- 100 ml broth
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 lemon
- 4 slices garlic butter
Instructions
- 1. Let the seafood and peas thaw.
- 2. Wash the peppers and leeks.
- 3. Remove the tough ends from the leeks and the tough parts of the peppers.
- 4. Cut the vegetables into small pieces.
- 5. Peel the garlic.
- 6. Mince the garlic finely.
- 7. Heat the butter in a pan.
- 8. Sauté the garlic, peppers, leeks, bay leaf, saffron, and thawed peas briefly.
- 9. Add the seafood and rice.
- 10. Pour in the broth.
- 11. Season with salt and pepper.
- 12. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes.
- 13. Cut the lemon in half.
- 14. Cut one half into wedges.
- 15. Squeeze the juice from the other half.
- 16. Drizzle the finished paella with lemon juice.
- 17. Divide onto plates.
- 18. Top each with a slice of garlic butter and a lemon wedge.
- 19. Serve.
