  1. 1. Fill a large pot with water and add plenty of salt. Place the pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil.
  2. 2. Add oil to a separate pan and heat it up.
  3. 3. Add tomato paste, sugar, and the drained pearl onions to the hot pan.
  4. 4. Sauté the ingredients in the pan for 30 seconds.
  5. 5. Add the pureed tomatoes and the cream to the pan.
  6. 6. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  7. 7. Let the sauce reduce over medium heat until it becomes creamy.
  8. 8. Stir the sauce several times during this process.
  9. 9. Add the pasta to the boiling salted water.
  10. 10. Cook the pasta al dente, exactly according to the instructions on the package.
  11. 11. Wash the parsley thoroughly.
  12. 12. Shake the parsley dry.
  13. 13. Pluck the leaves from the stems.
  14. 14. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
  15. 15. Add the peas to the pasta a few minutes before the end of the cooking time.
  16. 16. Continue cooking the pasta and peas until they are done.
  17. 17. Drain the pasta and peas in a colander.
  18. 18. Mix the drained pasta with the tomato sauce.
  19. 19. Sprinkle the finished dish with the chopped parsley.
