  1. 1. Cut the white bread into small cubes. Pour the milk over them and let the mixture soak for about 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Sauté the onion in hot butter. Add the onions, cheese, parsley, flour, eggs, and spices to the soaked bread and mix everything well together.
  3. 3. Shape 8 to 10 dumplings from the mixture. Place the dumplings side by side in a bowl. Cover them (possibly with microwave film) and cook them at 600 watts for about 6 minutes, then at 450 watts for another 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Pour brown butter over the dumplings. Serve them with a tomato salad.
