  1. 1. Rinse a screw-top jar with a 200 ml capacity with boiling water.
  2. 2. Turn the jar upside down on a kitchen towel and let it dry.
  3. 3. Sort through the raspberries to remove unripe or damaged berries.
  4. 4. Place the raspberries in a tall container.
  5. 5. Peel the ginger.
  6. 6. Grate the ginger finely.
  7. 7. Add the grated ginger to the raspberries.
  8. 8. Add the jam sugar.
  9. 9. Puree the mixture using a hand blender.
  10. 10. Blend for about 10 minutes.
  11. 11. Stop when the mixture starts to set.
  12. 12. Get a small ladle ready.
  13. 13. Fill the jam into the prepared jar.
  14. 14. Seal the jar immediately.
  15. 15. Store the jam in a cool place.
  16. 16. Consume the jam within 4 to 5 days.
