  6. 6. Stir in the carob bean flour (a natural thickener) well.
  7. 7. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  8. 8. Let the sauce simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
  9. 9. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
  10. 10. Remove the pot from the heat.
  11. 11. Add the chocolate to the hot sauce.
  12. 12. Let the chocolate melt while stirring.
  13. 13. Add the prepared cherries to the sauce.
  14. 14. Let the cherry sauce cool down completely.
