🍽️ Juicy Pork Roast with Spicy Honey-Mustard Crust

Ingredients
- 2 kg pork roast (with rind)
- salt, pepper from the mill
- 10 - 12 cloves
- 2 tbsp hot mustard
- 2 tbsp honey
- oranges (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees. If you are using a gas oven, set it to level 3.
- 2. Score the rind of the pork roast in a cross-hatch pattern.
- 3. Rub the meat generously with salt and pepper.
- 4. Press the cloves firmly into the cuts you made earlier.
- 5. Place the meat into a roasting pan.
- 6. Roast the pork roast in the oven for a total of two and a half hours.
- 7. After 45 minutes of roasting time, pour some water into the pan.
- 8. Brush the meat regularly with meat stock throughout the entire roasting time.
- 9. Whisk mustard and honey together in a small bowl until smooth.
- 10. Brush the roast frequently with the mustard-honey mixture during the last 20 minutes.
- 11. Let the roast rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
- 12. Decorate the finished dish with oranges and serve.
