  4. 4. Cover the filled toast slices with the remaining bread slices.
  5. 5. Press the sandwiches firmly together so they hold their shape.
  6. 6. Place the sandwiches into the sandwich maker.
  7. 7. Toast the sandwiches until they are golden brown and crispy.
  8. 8. Cut the finished toasts diagonally in half.
  9. 9. Serve the toasts immediately.
  10. 10. If you do not have a sandwich maker, heat a pan over low heat.
  11. 11. Add a little butter to the pan.
  12. 12. Fry the sandwiches on both sides until golden brown.
