  1. 1. Wash the cucumber under running water.
  2. 2. Peel the cucumber completely.
  3. 3. Dice the cucumber into small cubes.
  4. 4. Slice the radishes into very thin sticks.
  5. 5. Wash the arugula under running water.
  6. 6. Remove any wilted or brown leaves from the arugula.
  7. 7. Dry the arugula thoroughly, for example with a kitchen towel.
  8. 8. Rinse the dill under running water.
  9. 9. Shake the dill dry.
  10. 10. Pick off the fine dill tips from the stems.
  11. 11. Place the diced cucumber, radishes, arugula, and dill into a bowl.
  12. 12. Mix the cream cheese with the mustard in a separate bowl.
  13. 13. Season the cheese mixture generously with salt.
  14. 14. Season the cheese mixture generously with pepper.
  15. 15. Slice the baguette lengthwise, but not all the way through.
  16. 16. Remove some bread from the inside of the baguette to make room.
  17. 17. Cut the baguette into four equal pieces.
  18. 18. Take about one-quarter of the cheese cream.
  19. 19. Spread the cheese cream onto one half of the bread.
  20. 20. Repeat this for all bread halves.
  21. 21. Top the bread with the prepared vegetable mixture.
  22. 22. Place a slice of ham on the vegetables.
  23. 23. Place a slice of cheese on the ham.
  24. 24. Tie the sandwiches together with kitchen twine if desired to keep them stable.
  25. 25. Pack the sandwiches, for example for a picnic.
