  6. 6. Switch the oven to grill mode.
  7. 7. Grill the peppers for about 10 minutes.
  8. 8. Wait until the skin turns dark and forms bubbles.
  9. 9. Remove the baking tray from the oven.
  10. 10. Cover the hot pepper halves with a damp kitchen towel.
  11. 11. Let the peppers cool down under the towel.
  12. 12. Peel the onions while waiting.
  13. 13. Peel the garlic cloves.
  14. 14. Halve the onions.
  15. 15. Cut the onion halves into thin strips.
  16. 16. Finely chop the garlic.
  17. 17. Wash the lemon thyme.
  18. 18. Shake the thyme dry.
  19. 19. Pluck the thyme leaves from the stems.
