🍽️ Ground Meat and Cabbage Stew with Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 700 g Savoy cabbage
- 600 g waxy potatoes
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 300 g beef mince
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika powder (alternatively: hot paprika powder)
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 l vegetable broth
- 0.5 bunch parsley (10 g)
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and chop it finely.
- 2. Wash the pointed cabbage and cut it in half lengthwise.
- 3. Cut out the hard core from the inside of the cabbage halves.
- 4. Cut the cabbage into thick slices and then into strips.
- 5. Peel the potatoes and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- 6. Heat the oil in a large pot.
- 7. Sauté the onions over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
- 8. Add the ground meat and fry it for approx. 3 minutes.
- 9. Stir the tomato paste and spices well into the meat mixture.
- 10. Add the chopped cabbage and potato pieces to the pot.
- 11. Pour in the broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
- 12. Let the stew simmer covered for 20 to 30 minutes.
- 13. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 14. Wash the parsley and shake it dry.
- 15. Finely chop the parsley.
- 16. Season the finished stew to taste with salt and pepper.
- 17. Divide the stew among 4 deep plates.
- 18. Sprinkle the dish with fresh parsley and serve.
