🍽️ Spicy Tomato Drink with Herbs and Yogurt Dots

Ingredients
- 4 tomatoes (fully ripe)
- 1 handful fresh herbs (e.g. basil and dill)
- 1 red chili pepper
- 1 shallot
- 100 ml vegetable broth
- 1 ice cube
- 100 g yogurt
- salt
- 1 dash lemon juice
- Tabasco
Instructions
- 1. Wash the tomatoes under running water.
- 2. Cut out the hard base where the stem was attached.
- 3. Cut the tomato flesh into bite-sized pieces.
- 4. Rinse the herbs under cold water.
- 5. Shake the herbs dry.
- 6. Pluck the leaves from the stems.
- 7. Wash the chili pepper.
- 8. Cut the chili pepper in half lengthwise.
- 9. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper.
- 10. Cut one of the chili halves into thin strips for decoration.
- 11. Peel the shallot.
- 12. Chop the shallot roughly.
- 13. Keep two tablespoons of yogurt aside for later.
- 14. Put the chili strips, tomato pieces, herbs, broth, ice cubes, and the remaining yogurt into the blender.
- 15. Puree the ingredients in the blender until smooth.
- 16. Season the drink to taste with salt, lemon juice, and Tabasco.
- 17. Pour the drink into glasses.
- 18. Add the reserved yogurt as dots on top of the drink.
- 19. Garnish the drink with the chili strips.
- 20. Serve the drink immediately.
