🍽️ Spicy Lemon Shrimps

Ingredients
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 0.5 tsp lemon zest
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 chili pepper
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- white pepper
- 20 shrimp (ready for cooking)
- lemon juice
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped cilantro
Instructions
- 1. Peel the ginger and chop it finely.
- 2. Peel the garlic and chop it finely as well.
- 3. Remove the seeds from the chili and chop it finely.
- 4. Grate the zest of the lemon to get the lemon peel.
- 5. Mix the chopped ginger, lemon zest, chopped garlic, and chili in a bowl with the olive oil.
- 6. Season the marinade with salt and pepper to taste.
- 7. Rinse the prawns under cold water.
- 8. Pat the prawns dry with a kitchen towel.
- 9. Place the prawns in the marinade.
- 10. Let the prawns marinate for at least 1 hour.
- 11. Heat a non-stick frying pan very hot.
- 12. Add the prawns along with the marinade in portions to the hot pan.
- 13. Fry the prawns for 1 to 2 minutes over high heat.
- 14. Deglaze the dish with the lemon juice.
- 15. Finely chop fresh coriander leaves.
- 16. Serve the shrimps hot, garnished with the fresh coriander.
