  1. 1. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, peel off the skin, and chop them into small pieces. Wash the chili, remove the seeds, and chop it finely. Place the tomatoes, chili, sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a pot. Let the mixture infuse for about 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Bring the fruit mixture to a boil and simmer for about 45 minutes. Press the mixture through a sieve, bring it back to a boil, and let it bubble vigorously for 4 minutes while stirring constantly. Fill the jam into a rinsed hot jar, seal it, and store it in a cool, dark place.
