🍽️ Spicy Roasted Sweet Potato Slices

Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp paprika powder (mild sweet)
- 1 tbsp Madras curry powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 0.5 tsp salt
- pepper
- 600 g sweet potatoes
- 1 lemon
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 2. Finely chop the garlic.
- 3. Mix the chopped garlic with the oil.
- 4. Add paprika powder, curry powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- 5. Peel the sweet potatoes.
- 6. Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly.
- 7. Cut the sweet potatoes into 2 cm thick slices.
- 8. Place the sweet potato slices into a bowl.
- 9. Add the spiced oil to the slices and mix everything well.
- 10. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 11. Distribute the sweet potato slices evenly on the tray.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (180 °C for fan-assisted or gas mark 3).
- 13. Bake the sweet potatoes in the oven for 35 minutes.
- 14. Cut the lemon in half.
- 15. Squeeze the lemon juice directly over the finished sweet potatoes.
