🍝 Spicy Pasta with Chanterelles and Cherry Tomatoes

Ingredients
- 300 g fresh chanterelles
- 250 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 red chili pepper
- 4 sprigs thyme
- 4 sprigs parsley
- 250 g chicken breast fillet
- 400 g tagliatelle
- salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 30 g butter
- 150 ml dry white wine
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Clean the chanterelles carefully. Tear them into smaller pieces if necessary.
- 2. Wash the cherry tomatoes thoroughly.
- 3. Wash the chili pepper and slice it into thin rings.
- 4. Wash the thyme and the parsley.
- 5. Shake the herbs dry.
- 6. Chop the thyme and the parsley roughly.
- 7. Wash the meat.
- 8. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 9. Cut the meat into bite-sized cubes.
- 10. Bring water to a boil and add salt.
- 11. Cook the pasta in the salted water al dente (firm to the bite).
- 12. Peel the garlic.
- 13. Finely chop the garlic.
- 14. Heat the oil in a pan.
- 15. Sauté the garlic in the hot oil until translucent.
- 16. Add the chanterelles to the pan.
- 17. Sauté the mushrooms until the released liquid has completely evaporated.
- 18. Heat the butter in a second pan.
- 19. Fry the chicken cubes in the hot butter on all sides.
- 20. Remove the fried chicken cubes from the pan and set them aside.
- 21. Add the cherry tomatoes to the mushrooms in the first pan.
- 22. Add the chili rings to the mushrooms and tomatoes.
- 23. Toss the ingredients briefly in the pan.
- 24. Deglaze the pan with the white wine.
- 25. Let the sauce simmer on medium heat for 7 to 10 minutes.
- 26. Season the sauce to taste with salt and pepper.
- 27. Stir the chicken cubes back into the sauce.
- 28. Drain the cooked pasta.
- 29. Let the pasta drain well.
- 30. Add the pasta to the pan with the mushroom sauce.
- 31. Toss the pasta briefly to mix it with the sauce.
- 32. Preheat the serving plates.
- 33. Plate the pasta on the preheated plates.
- 34. Sprinkle the finished pasta with the chopped herbs.
- 35. Serve the dish immediately.
