🍽️ Spicy Minced Meat and Pepper Skewers with Yogurt Dip

Ingredients
- 0.5 bunch flat-leaf parsley
- 200 g yogurt (1.5% fat)
- salt
- pepper
- 1 small green bell pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 red chili pepper
- 500 g minced beef
- 1 tbsp paprika powder (sweet)
- 0.5 tsp paprika powder (hot)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash the parsley and shake it dry.
- 2. Pluck the leaves from the stems and chop them roughly.
- 3. Stir the chopped parsley into the yogurt in a bowl.
- 4. Season the yogurt mixture with salt and pepper.
- 5. Place the bowl in a cool spot until you are ready to serve the skewers.
- 6. Halve the bell pepper lengthwise and remove the core.
- 7. Rinse the pepper halves under running water.
- 8. Cut the flesh into fine cubes.
- 9. Place the pepper cubes into a second bowl.
- 10. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 11. Press the garlic through a press directly onto the pepper cubes.
- 12. Halve the chili pepper lengthwise and remove the inside.
- 13. Rinse the chili pepper.
- 14. Chop the chili pepper very finely.
- 15. Add the minced meat to the pepper and garlic mixture.
- 16. Add the finely chopped chili.
- 17. Sprinkle both types of paprika powder over the mixture.
- 18. Knead the ingredients into a firm dough using the beaters of a hand mixer.
- 19. Season the minced meat dough generously with salt and pepper.
- 20. Moisten your hands with a little water.
- 21. Shape the dough on the work surface into a long, thin roll.
- 22. Cut the roll into eight pieces using a knife.
- 23. Each piece should be about ten centimeters long and two to three centimeters thick.
- 24. Place the skewers into a large aluminum foil tray.
- 25. Brush the skewers all around with oil.
- 26. Preheat the grill.
- 27. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
- 28. Grill the skewers for about eight to ten minutes.
- 29. Turn the skewers once halfway through the cooking time.
- 30. Serve the grilled skewers together with the cold yogurt dip.
