  3. 3. Place the lemon pulp into a mortar.
  4. 4. Peel the garlic cloves.
  5. 5. Add the garlic cloves to the lemon pulp in the mortar.
  6. 6. Wash the chili peppers thoroughly.
  7. 7. Cut the chili peppers in half lengthwise.
  8. 8. Remove the seeds from the chili peppers if you prefer it less spicy.
  9. 9. Add the chili peppers, cumin, coriander, lemon pulp, and garlic to the mortar.
  10. 10. Pound all ingredients into a fine paste.
  11. 11. Slowly pour in the olive oil while pounding.
  12. 12. Continue stirring until the paste becomes creamy.
  13. 13. Season the paste with salt to finish.
