  2. 2. Remove the stems and seeds from the chili peppers.
  3. 3. Slice the chili peppers into thin rings.
  4. 4. Peel the garlic cloves.
  5. 5. Slice the garlic into very thin slices.
  6. 6. Rinse the shrimp under cold water.
  7. 7. Pat the shrimp dry with a kitchen towel.
  8. 8. Wash the fresh basil.
  9. 9. Pat the basil dry.
  10. 10. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
  11. 11. Finely chop the basil leaves.
  12. 12. Heat the oil in a large pan.
  13. 13. Lightly fry the garlic and chili rings in the oil.
  14. 14. Add the shrimp to the pan.
  15. 15. Cook the shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes.
  16. 16. Drizzle the lemon juice over the shrimp.
  17. 17. Fold the basil leaves into the shrimp.
  18. 18. Season the dish to taste with salt.
