  1. 1. Rinse the chili peppers under running water.
  2. 2. Pat the peppers dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Cut the chili peppers in half lengthwise.
  4. 4. Remove the seeds and the white inner membranes from the chili peppers.
  5. 5. Place the prepared chilies into a blender.
  6. 6. Add four to five tablespoons of oil to the blender.
  7. 7. Blend the chilies and oil in the blender until you have a fine mixture.
  8. 8. Peel the ginger.
  9. 9. Peel the garlic cloves.
  10. 10. Finely chop the ginger.
  11. 11. Finely chop the garlic.
  12. 12. Peel the lemon to get the yellow zest.
  13. 13. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon.
  14. 14. Add the lemon zest to the chili mixture.
  15. 15. Add the lemon juice to the chili mixture.

  20. 20. Mix all ingredients well together.
  21. 21. Take a clean jar that you have previously sterilized in boiling water.
  22. 22. Fill the chili mixture into the prepared jar.
  23. 23. Pour the remaining oil over the chili mixture.
  24. 24. Make sure all solid ingredients are completely covered with oil.
