  2. 2. Set aside a few small dill sprigs for decoration.
  3. 3. Pluck the leaves from the dill, parsley, and lemon balm stems.
  4. 4. Finely chop these leaves.
  5. 5. Cut the chives into fine rings.
  6. 6. Stir the sour cream with the mayonnaise in a bowl.
  7. 7. Add the chopped herbs to the cream mixture.
  8. 8. Fold the herbs in well.
  9. 9. Season the dip with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.
  10. 10. Garnish the dip with the reserved dill sprigs.
