  2. 2. Peel the onion and cut it into fine cubes.
  3. 3. Sauté the onion cubes in the pot until they are soft.
  4. 4. Add the sauerkraut to the pot.
  5. 5. Pour the vegetable broth and white wine over the sauerkraut.
  6. 6. Season the mixture with salt.
  7. 7. Place cumin, bay leaf, and juniper berries in a spice bag.
  8. 8. Add the spice bag to the pot with the sauerkraut.
  9. 9. Let the sauerkraut simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
  10. 10. Fill a pot with water and bring it to a warm temperature.
  11. 11. Place the white sausages in the warm water.
  12. 12. Warm the white sausages in the water for 5 minutes.
  13. 13. Remove the white sausages from the water and set them aside.
  14. 14. Peel the skin off the white sausages.
  15. 15. Slice the white sausages.
  16. 16. Thread three slices of white sausage onto a pretzel stick each.
  17. 17. Place the finished sauerkraut into jars.
  18. 18. Garnish the sauerkraut with parsley.
  19. 19. Place the pretzel stick with the white sausage pieces over the sauerkraut.
  20. 20. Serve the salt pretzel and sweet mustard alongside.
