🍽️ Pineapple Sauerkraut with Chicken Sausage

Ingredients
- 1 large pineapple
- 1400 g sauerkraut (can)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8 chicken sausages (boiled sausages)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the pineapple completely.
- 2. Cut the pineapple lengthwise into four quarters.
- 3. Remove the hard core from the base of the quarters.
- 4. Dice the pineapple quarters into small cubes.
- 5. Finely chop the sauerkraut.
- 6. Heat oil in a pan.
- 7. Fry the sauerkraut over low heat while stirring constantly.
- 8. Add the pineapple cubes to the pan.
- 9. Pour in 200 milliliters of water.
- 10. Cover the pan.
- 11. Let the mixture simmer for about 8 minutes.
- 12. Place the chicken sausages on top of the sauerkraut.
- 13. Let the sausages sit in the pot for 5 minutes.
- 14. Serve the pineapple sauerkraut with the sausages on plates.
