🍽️ Classic Hollandaise Sauce

Ingredients
- 250 g Butter
- 2 Egg yolks
- 4 tbsp dry white wine (alcohol-free)
- 0.5 Lemon (juiced)
- Salt (pepper)
Instructions
- 1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
- 2. Bring the butter to a brief boil.
- 3. Skim off the foam that rises to the top with a spoon.
- 4. Place the egg yolk and white wine in a metal bowl.
- 5. Place the bowl over a pot of hot water (bain-marie).
- 6. Whisk the mixture with a whisk until it becomes foamy.
- 7. Add the warm butter drop by drop while stirring constantly.
- 8. Season the finished sauce with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
