  1. 1. Peel the garlic cloves.
  2. 2. Roughly chop two of the cloves.
  3. 3. Place the parsley, chopped garlic, one tablespoon of pine nuts, capers, raisins, and oil into a blender.
  4. 4. Blend the ingredients until smooth.
  5. 5. Season the marinade with salt and pepper.
  6. 6. Rinse the sardines under running water.
  7. 7. Pat the fish dry with a kitchen towel.
  8. 8. Drizzle some of the marinade over the sardines.
  9. 9. Wash the lemon thoroughly.
  10. 10. Slice the lemon into thin rounds.
  11. 11. Place the lemon slices on top of the fish.
  12. 12. Let the fish marinate for about one hour.
  13. 13. Rinse the chard under running water.
  14. 14. Remove the tough white ends of the stems.
  15. 15. Cut the green leaves into thin strips.
  16. 16. Remove the sardines from the marinade.
  17. 17. Place the fish along with the lemon slices on the grill.
  18. 18. Grill the sardines over medium heat for about four minutes per side.
  19. 19. Brush the fish with a little marinade repeatedly while grilling.
  20. 20. Heat the butter in a frying pan.
  21. 21. Add the remaining pine nuts and the pressed garlic to the pan.
  22. 22. Sauté the ingredients briefly.
  23. 23. Add the chard strips to the pan.
  24. 24. Steam the chard for about three minutes.
  25. 25. Season the chard with salt and pepper.
  26. 26. Serve the grilled sardines together with the chard.
