🍕 Sardine and Olive Pizza

Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 20 g fresh yeast
- 0.125 l lukewarm water
- salt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g tomatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp oregano
- salt
- pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 g grated Gouda
- 8 small anchovy fillets (anchovies in salt)
- 2 tsp small capers
- 10 black olives
Instructions
- 1. Pour the flour into a large bowl.
- 2. Use your finger to make a small indentation in the center of the flour.
- 3. Crumble the yeast into small pieces.
- 4. Mix the yeast with a small splash of water.
- 5. Pour the yeast mixture into the indentation in the flour.
- 6. Lightly dust the yeast with a little flour.
- 7. Cover the bowl.
- 8. Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes.
- 9. Add the remaining water, salt, and oil.
- 10. Knead the ingredients into a soft and smooth dough.
- 11. Cover the dough again.
- 12. Place the bowl in a warm spot.
- 13. Let the dough rise for about one hour.
- 14. Wait until the volume of the dough has almost doubled.
- 15. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes.
- 16. Let the tomatoes sit in the hot water for a short time.
- 17. Shock the tomatoes with cold water.
- 18. Peel the skin off the tomatoes.
- 19. Cut the peeled tomatoes into small cubes.
- 20. Put the tomato cubes into a pot.
- 21. Add one tablespoon of oil.
- 22. Simmer the tomatoes over high heat.
- 23. Let the tomatoes simmer for about 10 minutes.
- 24. Season the tomato mixture with oregano.
- 25. Salt and pepper the mixture to taste.
- 26. Finely chop the garlic.
- 27. Stir the garlic into the tomato mixture.
- 28. Rinse the sardine fillets under running water.
- 29. Pat the sardines dry with a kitchen towel.
- 30. Lightly grease a pizza pan with oil.
- 31. Knead the dough briefly one more time.
- 32. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
- 33. Place the dough into the prepared pizza pan.
- 34. Spread the tomato mixture evenly over the dough.
- 35. Place the sardine fillets on top of the tomato sauce.
- 36. Sprinkle capers over the pizza.
- 37. Top the pizza with cheese.
- 38. Distribute the olives over the pizza.
- 39. Drizzle everything with the remaining olive oil.
- 40. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius.
- 41. Slide the pizza into the preheated oven.
- 42. Bake the pizza for about 12 to 15 minutes.
