🍽️ Thunfisch Strammer with Olives & Dill

Ingredients
- 200 g Tuna can (in brine)
- 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 100 g Sour cream (or cream cheese)
- 1 sprig Tarragon
- 2 tbsp green olives
- 0.5 small bell pepper
- 0.5 small onion
- Salt
- Pepper
- 6 slices mixed bread
- 3 slices white bread (crustless)
Instructions
- 1. Open the can of tuna and drain the water.
- 2. Flake the tuna into small pieces using your fingers.
- 3. Take half of the tuna pieces and put them into a blender.
- 4. Add a dollop of mayonnaise to the blender.
- 5. Blend the mixture until it is fine and creamy.
- 6. Put the remaining coarse tuna pieces into a separate bowl.
- 7. Stir the finely blended tuna-mayonnaise mixture into the coarse pieces.
- 8. Add sour cream to the tuna mixture.
- 9. Wash the fresh dill under running water.
- 10. Shake the dill dry.
- 11. Chop the dill very finely.
- 12. Chop the olives very small as well.
- 13. Take the bell pepper and remove the stem.
- 14. Remove the seeds and the white inner membranes of the bell pepper.
- 15. Cut the bell pepper flesh into very small cubes.
- 16. Peel the onion.
- 17. Dice the onion very small as well.
- 18. Add the chopped dill, olives, bell pepper cubes, and onion cubes to the tuna mixture.
- 19. Mix everything well together.
- 20. Season the filling with salt and pepper to taste.
- 21. Take the slices of mixed bread.
- 22. Spread the tuna cream evenly on each slice of bread.
- 23. Take three slices of white bread.
- 24. Place the white bread slices on top of the tuna-spread mixed bread slices.
- 25. Take the remaining three tuna-spread mixed bread slices.
- 26. Cover the sandwiches with them.
- 27. Carefully cut each sandwich diagonally into four triangles.
- 28. Arrange the sandwich halves on plates.
- 29. Serve the sandwiches immediately.
