🍽️ Butterfly Sandwiches with Smoked Salmon

Ingredients
- 12 slices whole wheat toast
- 200 g smoked salmon
- 2 tbsp butter
- 0.5 frisée lettuce
- 1 bunch arugula
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 tbsp sour cream horseradish
Instructions
- 1. Place the toast slices in the toaster and toast them lightly.
- 2. Cut the toast slices into the butterfly shape using a cutter or a template.
- 3. Cut the smoked salmon slices into butterfly shapes as well.
- 4. Halve the bell pepper and remove the core with the seeds.
- 5. Cut the bell pepper into thin strips.
- 6. Wash the arugula and dry the leaves thoroughly.
- 7. Spread the butter on half of the toast slices.
- 8. Place the salmon butterflies on the buttered toast slices.
- 9. Spread the cream horseradish over the salmon.
- 10. Cover the salmon with a layer of arugula.
- 11. Place the pepper strips on the arugula to look like antennae.
- 12. Cover the sandwiches with the remaining toast slices.
- 13. Wash the frisée lettuce and separate the leaves.
- 14. Place the frisée lettuce on a plate as a base.
- 15. Arrange the finished sandwiches on top of the salad.
