🍽️ Sandwich with Ham, Shrimp and Vegetables

Ingredients
- 250 g pumpkin flesh (e.g. Muscat, Hokkaido)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tomatoes
- 0.5 head lettuce
- 4 radishes
- 120 g mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped dill
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 handful sprouts (at your choice)
- 8 small slice multigrain bread
- 150 g Camembert
- 4 slice toast bread
- 4 slice smoked salmon
- 16 cocktail shrimp
- 1 unpeeled lime (zest)
- 4 mini wheat rolls
- 8 slice Serrano ham
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Cut the pumpkin into thin strips.
- 3. Place the pumpkin strips on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 4. Season the pumpkin strips with salt and pepper.
- 5. Drizzle the pumpkin strips with a little olive oil.
- 6. Roast the pumpkin strips in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
- 7. Turn the pumpkin strips once during roasting.
- 8. Wash the tomatoes.
- 9. Remove the hard stem base from the tomatoes.
- 10. Slice the flesh of the tomatoes.
- 11. Wash the lettuce leaves.
- 12. Spin the lettuce leaves dry.
- 13. Tear the lettuce leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- 14. Wash the radishes.
- 15. Trim the stems from the radishes.
- 16. Slice the radishes thinly or grate them finely.
- 17. Mix half of the mayonnaise with the lime juice and dill until smooth.
- 18. Season the lime mayonnaise with salt and pepper.
- 19. Whisk the remaining mayonnaise with the Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
- 20. Season the Worcestershire mayonnaise to taste.
- 21. Rinse the sprouts under cold water.
- 22. Let the sprouts drain well.
- 23. Briefly place the multigrain bread slices on a hot grill.
- 24. Remove the bread slices from the grill.
- 25. Let the bread slices cool slightly.
- 26. Drizzle the bread slices with a little olive oil.
- 27. Top half of the bread slices with the pumpkin strips.
- 28. Top the bread slices with sliced Camembert.
- 29. Top the bread slices with the tomato slices.
- 30. Top the bread slices with the lettuce.
- 31. Top the bread slices with the sprouts.
- 32. Cover each topped bread slice with another bread slice.
- 33. Cut the toast slices in half diagonally.
- 34. Spread the toast slices with the lime mayonnaise.
- 35. Top half of the toast slices with smoked salmon.
- 36. Top the toast slices with shrimp.
- 37. Top the toast slices with a little lettuce.
- 38. Garnish the toast slices with lime zest.
- 39. Cover the topped toast slices with another bread slice.
- 40. Slice the buns for the ham sandwich horizontally in half.
- 41. Spread the bun halves with the Worcestershire mayonnaise.
- 42. Top the buns with ham.
- 43. Top the buns with radishes.
- 44. Place the lids of the buns on top.
- 45. Stack one pumpkin-cheese sandwich, one shrimp sandwich, and one ham sandwich on top of each other.
- 46. Serve the stacked sandwiches.
